a.The information concerning the physical and intellectual part of the record

b.The information concering the digital item of the record

Here you can see two examples, one for each part:

1. Description Example has to do with all the elements of the record which are registered by the catalog

2. Preservation Example consists of all the information that concern the digital item that escorts the record.
