An illustrated tour through Greece by Dodwell and his companions (Sir William Gell first and secondly with the Italian artist Simone Pomardi). The plates were intended to illustrate Dodwell's but the cost of production proved prohibitive so thirty plates were chosen to appear separately. Dodwell and his companions produced over 1000 drawings, from which this set of colour views is a selection.
