Specification on the drop-down list of the Search Fields

The various fields of the dropdown box can help the improvement of a search request. each entry in the dropdown list is linked to a certain field of the bibliographic record:

All

Everywhere in the bibliographic record.

Author

Inside the elements of the author (e.g. lovinescu)

Classification

Inside the elements of classification (e.g. z2304.i7)

Creator

Inside the elements of the creator, which means the person, the factor or the institution mainly responsibly for the creation of the conceptual content of resource. (e.g.deffner michael)

Content description

Inside the elements of content description (e.g.Πίνακας μεταφράσεων του Βολταίρου)

Contributor

Contributor is the person, the factor or the institution mainly responsibly for the creation of the conceptual content of the record. (e.g.lheritier michel)

Coverage

Coverage means the information that concern the place, the time period and/or the date that relates to the conceptual content of a record (e.g. greece)

Date of creation

Inside the elements of the date of creation of the original record (e.g.1600)

Date of digitization

Inside the elements of the date of digitization of the record (e.g.2006 02 07)

Date of publication

Inside the elements of the publication date (e.g.1870)

Identifier

Identifier is the unique number that assigns the system to the record.

LCSH subject

It is structured terms that determine thematic the records.(e.g. french revolution can be griuped in lcsh subject: france -- history -- revolution, 1789)

Note

Within the notes that go with the record (e.g. paged continuously.)

Object description

Inside the description of the object which means the intellectual content of the resource

Publisher name

Inside the elements of publisher (e.g.diaspora books for the greek language research group)

Publisher place

Inside the elements of publisher place, the place where it was published the original record (e.g. Paris)

Relation

The term of relation means any information that concers another resource and lies inside the bibliographic record (e.g. cypriots in britain. an annotated bibliography)

Title

In the elements of the title of a record (e.g. lexikon)
